Nineteen Tazewell County students participated in the Virginia State History Day Competition on April 26 and April 27 in Richmond, Virginia. Ethan Patton (RMS) placed third in the Individual Exhibit (Junior) category. Ethan also won the Constitutional HIstory and Civics Prize. Ellie Lentner (GIS) placed first in the Individual Exhibit (Elementary) category. Kya Dales (RES) placed second in the Individual Performance (Elementary) category. Jackson Buchanan (RES) won the White House Historical Association Award.

Parents of rising 7th and 12th graders, please view the flyer below for the dates and locations of our Spring Clinics. The vaccines offered at the clinics are mandatory for public school attendance in Virginia.
Required:
7th graders - Tdap booster, 1st dose of MenACWY (meningococcal), and HPV (only one that can be opted out of by parents)
12th graders - 2nd dose of MenACWY (meningococcal)
